Abstract
291,745. Large, J. M. June 7, 1927, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Electrodes for storage batteries consist of a number of superposed lead troughs supported by walls and partitions b and filled with active material c as shown in Fig. 2. The troughs may be formed by casting a number of shelves a, Fig. 1, with walls and partitions b and turning up the ends a<1>, a<2> of the shelves. To form a complete cell two such blocks of shelves may be immersed in sulphuric acid and separated by a plate of earthenware &c. fitting into grooves in the container.
