Abstract

161,684. Abushady, A. Z. Jan. 14, 1920. Bee-keepers' appliances.-An artificial honeycomb is built up of a series of separate members which when assembled constitute the cells. Ribbons or strips d of sheet metal, preferably aluminium, are stamped so as to form the cell walls, and are strung on wires c, c, which are supported on slots in the side bars a of the frame, at the top and bottom. The stamped strips are placed at each side of a central plate or foundation sheet which forms the bottom of the cells. The strips may be stamped so as to form cells of hexagonal, square, circular, or other shape.
