Abstract

Beehives.-A wax combfoundation plate having moulded cell bottoms on both sides reinforced by an insertion of a perforated plate, net, grating, &c. of metal or other material has the cell bottoms arranged to coincide with the perforations in the insertion, the cells on both sides being in line instead of staggered, as shown in Fig. 3.
