Abstract
167,615. Leitner, H., Wood, G. E., and Greenwood & Batley, Ltd. May 20, 1920. Electrodes.-Electrodes of the bipolar kind consisting of wood supports c having grooves containing twisted lead strips surrounded by active material as described in Specification 112,956 are arranged radially as shown in plan in Fig. 4. The central space n may be used as a reservoir for electrolyte, the spaces o between the electrodes being filled with glass wool or other absorbent. The container may be divided into two cells by a partition h. The electrodes are held in position by distance-pieces g and, if the partition h is not provided, by a plug on the bottom of the cell.
