Cells; electrodes; separators. -The container of a storage cell is divided into a number of compartments by porous or perforated partitions 11 formed integral with or sealed into grooves in the container, each partition extending to the bottom of the container but terminating short of the top to leave a space 12 for electrolyte. Adjacent or alternate compartments contain e'ectrodes consisting of a liminar - conductor 14 surrounded by powdered active material.
