291,742. Svenska Aktiebolaget Bromsregulator. June 7, 1927, [Convention date]. Universal joints.- The link 5 of an automatic slack adjuster for brake mechanism is connected to the adjuster by means of . a universal joint comprising bearings 9, 9<1> for the inturned end of the link and for a crank pin 8 on an arm 7 of the adjuster. It is found convenient to make these bearings of the same bore, but in order to prevent, in assembling the device, the bearings from being mounted on the wrong pins, the pin 8 is provided with a projection 10 adapted to be received in a recess 11 in the bearing 9<1> and the bearing 9 may further be made of greater length than the bearing 9<1> so that is mounted on the pin 8 the hole for the cotter pin 12 will be covered thereby.
