291,127. Jansen, H. C., and Jansen, J. P. H. May 3, 1927. Yeast.-Nutrient substances supplied during the propagation of yeast are added to the vats as a vapour or in solution with the aerating gas. When liquid or aqueous ammonia is employed, the aeration gas is passed through the nutrient. Temperature control of the aerating gas is employed before, during, or after addition of the nutrient. Specification 270,770 is referred to.
