Abstract
291,032. I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.- Ges. May 24, 1927, [Convention date]. Electrodes for storage batteries are made from lead alloy supported in lead grids by subjecting the grids to electrolysis in an acid solution to remove the alloying metal. A sulphuric acid solution of specific gravity 1.1 and a current density of 1.2 amps. per sq. decimetre of electrode surface may be used. After the alloying metal has been removed fresh electrolyte may be used and the forming process continued
