Abstract
290,536. Mitchell, W. J. Jan. 12, 1928. Cooking-ranges; boilers, arrangernent of.-In a range of the type comprising a boiler-stove 1 and an oven 2 arranged in a wall recess 3 with a clear space 10 between them, the gases from the stove passing around the oven, the top 7 of the stove and plates 11 and 12 forming the upper and lower walls of the oven jacket occupy the whole width and depth of the wall recess, and the flue pipes 14, 15 conveying the gases to and from the jacket are of small size, so as to leave the spaces above and below the oven substantially unobstructed for the reception of cooking utensils &c. The oven may be provided with gas or electric heating means.
