Abstract

289,223. Cheney, C. W. March 11, 1927. Stud-and-socket fastenings for attachÚ cases. The hoop a adapted to slidably engage a rigid socket e is provided with a spring catch a<2> that snap-engages with a detent or projection e<3> within the interior of the socket, a hand-operated member d' being also carried by the hoop for disengaging the catch from the detent. The detent is carried by a blade spring d' and it projects through a slot a<2> in the face of the hoop. It is withdrawn by moving a thumb piece d<6> attached to the cam member d<7>, as shown. Specification 245,231 is referred to.
