Abstract

176,268. Gaillard, F. April 28, 1921. Hasp fastenings.-In a pull-over hasp for attachÚ cases &c. as described in Specification 103,956, spring-catch action is obtained by the use of a flat spring B engaging the pivot C<1> of the hasp c, which pivot is movable in an L- slot A in the fixed part of the casing. To release the hasp, its upper end is pressed backwards, forcing the pivot C<1> forward into the upright part of the slot, so that the hasp can then be lifted clear of the projection D behind which it normally lies.
