Abstract

289,004. Fromont, L. E. G. H. April 19, 1927, [Convention date]. Window blinds.- In a cord pulley for a window blind the ratio of the diameter of the barrel of the pulley to its length is less than a half and the ratio of the diameter of the barrel to the diameter of the blind roller i= less than one-third thus permitting the use of a short length of operating cord. In the construction shown the barrel is carried upon a spike 4a driven into the roller and is provided with the usual flanges 2, one of which is attached to a socket 2a to receive the roller 3. The cord is passed through a hole 5 in one flange 2 and its knotted end housed in a recess 6 in the roller. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) states that the barrel 2 may be of conical form. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
