Casings. - Over - head valve rockers are provided between their two arms 11, 12 with cylindrical bosses 9 adapted to fit within corresponding holes 8 in the valve-gear casing 2, so as to prevent escape of oil from the casing and allow one arm 11 of the rockers to be wholly within the casing and the other arm 12 outside. An oil well 14 under the cam shaft is covered by a web. 15 formed with an opening 16, through which the rocker arms 11 engage the cams. A boss 19 on the end of the casing is spigoted into the casing of the chain drive for the cam shaft.
