Lifeboats; air casings.-The buoyancy of boats is increased by fitting an air bag A or tube round the inside of the gunwales the inflating valve E for the tube passing through a flexible cover F, secured to the stern B. Similar tubes may be located beneath the seats. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 19583/08.
