Building blocks special shapes of.-Walls with air-circulating or insulating spaces 25 are built of interlocking blocks which consist of two portions 12, 13 spaced apart by integral webs 14 and provided with grooves 18 and bevelled tongues 19 on the upper and lower faces, concavities 22 on the end faces, and a central groove 15 and tongue 16 with bevelled edges 17. The mortar joints are concealed in the spaces 23 and grooves 18, and the tongues 19 fit into but are shallower than the grooves 18.
