Scissors and hand-shears with removable blades have the blades 13, 14 provided with countersunk holes 17 adapted to engage by longitudinal movement with undercut heads of pins 15 on the blade carrying levers 1, 2, and held against release by the pivot pin 9 screwed into member 1 and passing through registering perforations in the blades 13, 14, member 2, and a bent-over portion 10 of member 1 between which and the main portion of member 1 member 2 is mounted. The portion 10 exerts a spring-pressure holding the members 1, 2 and blades 13, 14 together.
