287,236. Smith, W. S., Garnett, H. J., and Holden, J. A. Dec. 17, 1926. Alloys.-A non-magnetic alloy having high electrical resistance consists of 67-71 per cent. of iron, 23.27 per cent. of nickel, 1.5-4 per cent. of chromium, and 1.5-4 per cent. of either aluminium or silicon, and is free from or low in carbon. Up to about 1 per cent. of manganese may be added.
