Abstract

285,943. Fletcher, J. Y., and Quance, F. G. Oct. 25, 1926. Electric radiators.-In a radiator employing heating resistances 26, 27 and a lamp or lamps 30 in conjunction with a reflector 28, the latter is adjustable to vary the angle over which the heat and light rays are reflected. The reflector is supported by rods 36 carried by brackets 37 and is coupled by a strap 44 to a screwed operating spindle 46. An additional resistance 33 is fitted to the front of the radiator. The lamp and heating elements are mounted on bus-bars 15, 14. 13 connected to the supply mains. The lamp may be of the tubular type, the envelope being stained a flame colour.
