Switches, quick-break; flexible-pull actuation; cases.-Successive pulls on a cord 43 rotate a disc 28 in one direction in 180‹ steps, a pin 34 on the disc 28 thereby actuating a member 24 connected by a link 22 to a contact-carrying member 18 and moving contacts 17 alternately on " and " off.''. The cord 43 is wound round a pulley 42 connected by a one-way toothed clutch arrangement with a disc 39 fixed on the shaft 32 carrying the disc 28. The member 24 and the link 22 move from the position shown in full lines to the position shown in dotted lines and a spring 20 connected to the member 18 provides a quick action
