Abstract
282,687. Erste Bohmische Kunstseidefabrik Akt.-Ges. Dec. 21, 1926, [Convention date]. Cellulose and cellulose ester solutions, processes for making filaments from.-For the manufacture of hollow textile filaments by the method in which solid or liquid substances are finely distributed in the solution to be spun as described in Specification 258,582, the added substance is eliminated from the filaments by subjecting the latter to a vacuum and if necessary at the same time raising the temperature. For instance, if the added substance is a petroleum fraction &c. boiling at 200 C., then the pressure may be reduced to 10-20 m.m. of mercury, in which case temperatures of 75-90‹ C. are sufficient to produce volatilization.
