282,609. Aldridge, E. T. Aug. 19, 1927. Fastenings for hinged doors.- A gate fastening comprises two loops A, A' secured together by a common spindle C with terminal nuts E, E<1> as shown. The loop A is secured on the gate post level with the top of the gate, and loop A' is movable pivotally on the spindle to engage any suitable projection on the top of the gate.
