Abstract
156,440. Starmer, M. March 25, 1920. Catches and sheaths for hinged and like pins; safety-gins and sofety-pin fastenings and suspenders.-Safety-pins are formed preferably from a single length of wire with the fixed bar and spring pin 7, Fig. 2, in a plane at right-angles to the plane of the retaining-head and the spring coil. The head is preferably capped by a. plate 3 provided with a hook 5, and the spring coil is formed with a. brace bar 11 aligned with the fixed bar. A hook 14, Fig. 6, may be provided for use as a curtain-hanger.
