Hooks and eyes.-In hook- and-eye fastenings for dresses &c., of the type wherein the hook member is formed from a length of wire bent upon itself to form an attaching- base from which extend two legs terminating in oppositely-turned hooks lying close together and each in a plane at right-angles to the base, the base d has a transverse bar c passing between the legs a, b which are crossed X-fashion above the transverse bar and terminate in the reversed hooks e, f. For attachment, the eye g is given a quarter-turn and forced down between the parallel hooks.
