Feed by wheels.-A pair of auxiliary feed rollers b, c, and actuating mechanism d therefor are all mounted on a common bracket a which is secured, as by screws a<1>, to the base plate e. The feed-mechanism d is of the intermittent clutch type and is actuated by an arm x on the rocker s for the feed dog o. The connection comprises a rod y adjustably secured to the arm x. The upper roller c is carried on the end of a lever f pivoted at g, and may be mixed by depressing a cam lever h, or by a treadle connected to the end of an extension n.
