Abstract
281,670. Fiat Soc. Anon. Nov. 30, 1926, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Planes and wings, arrangement and disposition of; framework.-The lower wings are attached to the fuselage by vertical bolts which pass through the ends of the wing spars and through corresponding members attached to the fuselage. In the construction shown, the wing spars 1, which are of the kind described in Specification 281,657, are provided with extended upper and lower flanges 2, 3 forming a fork which is reinforced with an interior frame 4 and with saddle pieces 5, 6 riveted to the outside. The end of a strut 7 fixed transversely across the fuselage (which is constructed in the manner described in Specification 281,659). is reinforced by a head 9 having lugs 11 for the attachment of bracing members, and pads 10 constituting seatings for the arms of the fork. A vertical bolt 8 is passed through the arms of the fork and through the head 9.
