Abstract

279,845. Radiofrequenz Ges., and Eberhard, H. Oct. 26, 1926, [Convention date]. Thermionic generators.- In a piezo-electrically-controlled oscillator a quartz crystal 9 is connected between the grid 3 and an intermediate point 10 of an inductive impedance in the plate-filament circuit. Oscillations are generated at the natural frequency of the crystal when tho upper coil or coil section 7 has approximately that resonance frequency. A small variable condenser may be connected across the coil 7. The coil 8 should be of large inductance compared with the coil 7.
