Abstract

279,312. British Thomson-Houston Co., Ltd., and Samuelson, F. March 10, 1927. Blades.-The spacing blocks 4 of blades 3 are provided with one or more radial 'lugs 6 shaped to fit without deformation into corresponding grooves 7 at the bottom of the usual blade-root groove 2 in the rotor 1, to prevent twisting. The blocks may be integral with the blades. The blades are fixed in the groove 2 by serrations 5 engaging corresponding grooves in the sides of the groove 2.
