Abstract

277,850. Connell, T., and Mahony & Bros., Ltd., M. Jan. 6, 1927. Combing-machines.-The cam shaft 4 for the traversing-motion of the drawing-off leathers is driven by a worm 2 from a vertical counter-shaft 1 connected by gears 5, 14 to a gear on the usual vertical shaft which drives the drawing-off roller shaft 8. The shaft 1 is carried in an adjustable bracket 10 to allow change gears to be fitted.
