Abstract

276,344. Stam, M. J. Aug. 18, 1926, [Convention date]. Pneumatic conveyers.-A feeding device for admitting mortar, concrete and other viscous materials to a pneumatic conveyer comprises a series of vertical chambers 7 carried by a rotary spindle 8 and moving over plates 12, 13, provided with apertures 17, 18, 21. When a chamber is below the hopper 16, it receives material through the aperture 17. When a chamber is in register with the apertures 18, 21 a blast of compressed air from the reservoir 19 conveys the material to and through the conduit 22.
