Suit cases.-A suit or like case consists of a lower box-shaped member b and a flanged upper member a fitting thereover and provided at the ends with one or more locking members c each adapted to engage one of a series of superposed slots e in a member d secured to the lower part, and at the sides with spring catch members f similarly adapted to engage slots g. The body part b is provided with horizontal partitions h fitting into grooves i at one side and resting on ledges k beneath retaining clips l at the other, and may also have retaining straps n. A partition x of not less than the size of the part b, suspended by tapes s from the upper member so as to rest upon the lower member, serves to retain in place articles stored within the upper part. To facilitate carrying, an additional adjustable handle p secured by spring catches to the appropriate pair of slots q may be provided on the upper member.
