Alloys.-Non-magnetic or weakly magnetic cast irons contain about 6-12 per cent of manganese and 3-7 per cent of silicon, or about 3 per cent of carbon, 3-8 per cent of manganese, 1-5 per cent of silicon, and up to 4 per cent of nickel. Specification 204,598 is referred to.
