237,554. Rheinische Eisengiesserei & Maschinenfabrik Akt.-Ges., (Assignees of Doeblin, F.). July 26, 1924, [Convention date]. Moulds.-When casting iron containing 10 per cent or more of silicon heated moulds are employed. For castings containing 10 per cent of silicon and 10 m.m. thick the moulds are preheated to 500‹ C., if 50 m.m. thick to 350‹ C., or if 20 per cent silicon and 10 m.m. thick to 150‹ C.
