S c r e w fastenings; seal fastenings. - A screw 3 for fastening two parts 1, 2, such as the base and cover of an electric fuse box, has an undercut head 6 engaging a recess 4 having a rounded base 5, so that an inverted sealing cup 8 of lead or other semi-plastic material, when pressed home by pliers 10, has its bottom edge forced under the head of the screw. The cup lies below the surface 9, and may be impressed with a monogram by the sealing-tool. The lip of the cup may, alternatively, be spread outwards into a recess.
