Abstract

Air, gas, and vapour injectors and douches.-A storing vessel for compressed or liquefied gases delivers through a valve and a flexible conduit to a nozzle provided with a handle directing the gas, e.g. to a tooth ; a valve associated with the nozzle is opened and closed by a lever and automatic heating means operated e.g. by the lever or directly by the gas flow, are put in and out of action with the opening and closing of the valve. Fig. 2 shows an electrical heating means comprising a coil 7 connected to terminals 19, 21 in the handle 5. The valve 10 is opened by the lever 9 which at the same time turns a contact block 16 into position to close the circuit. In a modification, the gas flow,. when the valve is opened, lifts a small valve from its seat and rotates the bell crank lever on which the valve is mounted, causing one of its arms to close an electrical heating circuit. Gas may replace electrical heating.
