Abstract

Shearing; shear-blades. - In a stationary machine a helical frame 24 with integral cutterjournals is secured to a fixing bracket 45 by a screw 30 and carries a bracket 34 for the shaft of a hand-wheel 36. The cutter 32 is secured to a hub 31 driven from the. hand-wheel and cooperates with a cutter 40 screwed to a hub 39 axially adjustable by a nut 41. An eccentric bush allows of the angular adjustment of the cutter 40. The invention may be applied to a portable machine. Specification 270,732 is referred to.
