Abstract
272,565. British Thomson-Houston Co., Ltd., (Assignees of Alexanderson, E. E.). June 14, 1926, [Convention date]. Transformers.-Transformers described also in Specification 272,537 consist of a low tension winding 18 and a high tension winding 19 separated by a magnetic shunt 21. Air gaps 22 are provided between the shunt ends and the outer legs of the transformer core, the shunt reducing the transference of high-frequency energy to the low tension side of the circuit. Choke coils and shunt condensers may also be inserted to by-pass any such energy which may be transmitted.
