Abstract

271,172. Bedford, F. Pilmore-. Feb. 23, 1926. Float-operated quantity indicators.-In a petrol or like supply device, a visible measuring chamber 1 is fitted with a plurality of quantity indicators, such as numbers 10, which are brought into view successively as the chamber fills. The numbers 10 are mounted on float-actuated arms 11 pivoted at 12 alternately on each side of the chamber. A stop 14 limits the rise of each arm. The level of the liquid at any moment is indicated by a horizontal double-headed arrow, mounted on a float, and showing through the window 6.
