269,482. Hibbert Pneumatic Cell Tyre Co., Ltd. April 17, 1926, [Convention date]. Cellular indiarubber.-An elastic core adapted to be fitted in an ordinary tyre cover, or on which a cover may be built during manufacture, is formed in two annular parts 6, 7 having registering cavities 8 into which compressed air is forced prior to complete vulcanization. The cuter ends of the recesses may be fitted with plugs 14 of unvulcanizable rubber to permit inflation bv means of a hypodermic needle. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) describes also the modification, shown in Fig. 3, (Cancelled), in which a band 9 having plugs 10 with cupped ends 11 to register with the cavities 8 is fitted between the corehalves 6, 7. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
