493,612. Wheel tyres. FLETT, J. Oct. 12, 1937, No. 1887. [Class 144 (ii)] A tyre, integrally secured to a rim D which may be formed of hard rubber comprises an ordinary outer cover C enclosing inflated balls A formed of sponge or other rubber. Smaller inflated balls may be arranged between the balls A, and the interstices B are packed with rubber of spongy or other nature. The balls may be inflated during manufacture by means of low-temperature air ; by injection of liquid air; or, by ordinary means. Specifications 10858/01, [Class 144], and 22438/09, [Class 144 ii)], are referred to.
