Driving steering-wheels; change-speed gearing; transmission gear of invariable ratio.-In a motor vehicle with front driving wheels and the differential gear arranged between the changespeed gear 7, 10 and the engine, the drive is transmitted from the change-speed gear shaft 7 to the differential gear through skew bevel gea,ring 8, 9. In the construction shown the changespeed gear is in front of the axle, and its main shaft carries the bevel pinion 8.
