Piston-packing substitutes. - Bellows packing for brake pistons is made by securing together steel rings m, of the section, shown, at their inner and outer peripheries by soldering or by autogenous welding. In soldering, the edge of one disc may be turned over and crimped, or a flange on one disc may be bent over to clamp the other disc. Specification 14904/99 is referred to.
