Cooling and heating parts.-A fan used in conjunction with a heat exchanger is constructed with hollow blades for using alternate passages D, E, for air and hot gases. The back plate G has openings through which air from the casing H enters the passages D flowing substantially parallel to the axis to pass two hollow thin walled cells K. Hot gases flow about the cells to enter the eye of the fan and be discharged tangentially through the passages E.
