Abstract
266,124. Glover, C. W. Feb. 13, 1926. Moulding walls in situ.-Concrete pillars are cast in situ between pre-cast slabs forming a wall by the aid of shutters which are supported and manipulated from inside the building. The inner shutter 3 is supported by an horizontal member 9 and an inclined stay 10 which projects at its upper end to the outer surface of the wall and has hinged thereto the supports 4a, 4<b> to which the outer shutter 4 may be secured in any inclined position. A rope 14 is fixed to the bottom of the support 4b and passes over a pulley 13 at the head of the stay, so that, after casting, the outer shutter may be pulled from the wall about the pivot 5 and the whole may be shifted to a new position without dismantling. The stay 10 and outer side of the support 4b are formed as ladders for the convenience of the workmen. The stay may be further supported by side struts 16.
