Abstract

Casting walls in situ.-Concrete walls are cast course upon course by means of outer and inner shuttering d, d<1> supported on cross-bolts g, the outer shuttering being distanced from the inner shuttering at the upper ends by distance-pieces f. The core shutters are maintained apart during casting by means of upper and lower toggles c, c<1> pivoted to upper and lower slotted members b and to the shutters, the members b being interconnected by an actuating rod e so that the weight of the toggle-levers and actuating lever maintains the core shutters in expanded position. The shutters are slotted to engage over the support bolts g. The shutters are connected by metal angle-pieces at corners.
