265,790. Randell, F. Feb. 26, 1926. Seed drills. - In a seed drill in which the seeds are delivered into hoppers by cups carried by rotary discs, the discs are arranged in pairs and a hopper between the members of each pair is movable to receive seeds from either disc, one of the two discs being adapted to deliver a quantity of seeds differing from that delivered by the other. The discs are mounted on a shaft b passing through a trough or barrel containing the seeds, the cups h on one disc d of each pair being larger or more numerous than the cups g on the other disc c. The hopper e is mounted on trunnions f so as to be movable towards either disc. The hoppers e may be simultaneously shifted by means of a rod passing across the machine. They may be held in inoperative position midway between the discs. The discs may be replaced by others.
