Abstract

265,741. Thompson, F. S., Thompson, H. J., and Meredith, J. W. Dec. 18, 1925. Lift valves; locking - catches. - A nozzle, for a petrol supply device, comprises a socket A for attachment to a hose, a delivery portion B at right angles to the sochet, and a mushroom valve C held to its seat in the socket A by a coil spring H. The valve is operated by a push knob F and may be retained in the open position by a catch M. The delivery portion B may be made of aluminium or other soft metal.
