Abstract

265,445. Koslowski, F. June 7, 1926. Lacing - fastenings.- A number of short laces 3 are attached at one end, e.g. by rivets 4 at progressively increasing distances apart, to the edges 1, 2 of the opening of the boot &c. and at the other end to a pull-lace 5 which is guided in studs 6 secured to the tongue 7 of the boot &c. The looped end 8 of the pull-lace 5 is provided with a pressbutton member 9 adapted to engage a corresponding member 10 on the boot &c. Instead of attaching short, laces 3 to a pull-lace, the laces 3 may be joined to one another to form the pull-lace, theupper lace forming a loop 8.
