Electric and magnetic. - In order to improve the temperature coefficient of an electricity meter, the rotating disc 6 is moved with respect to the brake magnet 4 and the driving magnet 1 in accordance with the temperature by at least one bimetallic strip 9, 10. This carries at its free end the footstep bearing 7 of the shaft 5. A similar strip may carry the upper bearing, or both bearings may be attached to a member carried by one bimetallic strip. The bimetallic strip may be extended beyond the free end, bent inwardly and carry the lower bearing on the end that lies between the limbs. The elements forming the extension are reversely arranged, so that the displacement of the bearing is approximately doubled.
