Abstract

263,733. Symonds, R. F. Dec. 26, 1925, [Convention date]. Otter boards.-A sheet metal otter board is reinforced with angle irons 3, 4 and 6, the parts 3 and 4 being connected by plates 5. The towing cable is secured by a shackle 12 to two members 8, 9 pivotally secured to the board by clips 10, 11. The net is connected by shackles 14. The board can be handed by moving the clips 11 and member 9 to the opposite end where holes 17 are provided and by moving the shackles 14 to the holes 18. A curved plate shoe 7 is provided and buffers may be secured in the holes 16.
