Rolling-machines.-A candy ribbonforming machine has a forwardly-converging trough-like feed hopper 14, the inclination of which can be adjusted by a screw nut 12, 13, and which is provided with an endless-belt feeder 15 in its base. A cover plate 24 projects rearwardly from the front end of the hopper to overlap a portion of the belt which is provided with gripping points 22 to seize into the material being fed, and an angled projection 23 on its driving face to engage corresponding grooves in the driving pulleys 16, 17. The candy passes to the shaping rolls 25, 26 which are also provided with gripping projections and thence after twisting through a right-angle to final shaping and delivery rolls 45, 46. The rolls are driven through trains of gearing which allow of continuous drive and adjustment of pass between the rolls, and the delivery rolls are driven faster than the first shaping rolls.
